The Parador Hotel de Santiago de Compostela is a five star deluxe hotel next to the famous Santiago do Compostela cathedral and is probable the oldest hotel in the world. The Parador Hostal Dos Reis Catolicos is located in the Plaza do Obradoiro in Santiago and it was originally the royal hospital in 1499 built to give shelter to the numerous pilgrims making their way to Santiago. It has four beautiful cloisters, elegant living rooms, spectacular bedrooms and a luxurious dining room.
The accommodation at the parador comprises 103 twin bedded rooms, 16 double bedded rooms, 12 single rooms and 6 suites.
